KT’S Complementary Therapies takes privacy and security very seriously. This privacy notice explains how I look after the personal information you give me or that I learn by having you as a client. It includes the choices you make about marketing communications. This notice explains how I do this and tells you about your privacy rights.

 

 

WHAT INFORMATION I COLLECT ABOUT YOU

I collect information about you when you book an appointment for a treatment, visit for a treatment, buy a product or gift certificate whether contact is on paper, by email or over the phone.

The information you give me may include your name, address, email address, phone number, payment and transaction information and IP address.

Relevant medical and lifestyle history information which is required to offer the most suitable treatment or product and to ascertain that there are no conditions which would be a contraindication to the treatment, such as undergoing medical treatment, allergy or pregnancy.

For clients under the age of 16, I will only keep and use their personal information with the consent of a parent, carer or guardian.

 

 

HOW INFORMATION ABOUT YOU WILL BE USED

To respond to your enquires about my services.

To fulfil a contract with you by providing you with a product or treatment you have requested and to communicate with you about your appointments.

For marketing purposes (where consent has been given) to promote special offers or products.

I do not share nor sell your personal data to anyone else.

Exemption to the above are when asked to provide information as a result of a court order or to recover monies due.

 

HOW LONG YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE KEPT FOR

For insurance purposes I am obliged to keep your records for 7 years after your last treatment. Thereafter it will be destroyed.

 

 

WHERE YOUR INFORMATION IS KEPT

The information you give me on your client consultation is stored in its original paper format in a locked cabinet, your information is accessible to myself only. Where communication is through email, your email address will be stored in my email account only if that is your preferred method of communication. If after your initial email contact with me you choose to communicate through a different means your email address will be deleted.

 

ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION AND CORRECTION

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information that I hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please contact Katie Russell and this will be arranged. This will be free.

I want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up-to-date. You may ask me to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.

 

MARKETING

I would like to send you information about products and services which may be of interest to you. I will do this through email or phone communication. I will obtain your consent to receive marketing information. If you have consented to receiving marketing, you may opt out at a later date.  You have the right at any time to stop me from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact me.

 

COOKIES

A cookie is a small text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. My website uses cookies which are used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.

You can set your browser not to accept cookies, however some of the website features may not function as a result.
